I prefer the way of learning about life through listening to the advice of family or friends.

Somebody like your family or friends can give advice, in the other words, they already had similar experience. As we can attain many lessons from books, you can accept various information or lessons from their advice better than only you experience some situations, because it is different depending on perspective whose was experienced.

Then, it is possible to avoid hard time for learning about life. When people grow up, they experience many things whether it makes them happy or hard in their life. However, if you pay attention to the others experiences, you can select what is more helpful in your life.

Nevertheless, people have some characteristics: If they didn’t experience, they have difficulties in that they receive the others advice into owns of them. In addition, advices of the others can’t always right, because you are different with them. Therefore, when you accept the others’ advices, you should be careful with consideration about yourself.

Although learning about life by the others’ advices has some point be considered , if you listen the advices and attain carefully, I think there is no way which is the best way for learning about life.

Asia continent was easy to be influenced by ‘Hallyu’, because they are closer comparatively and have many points of similarity with Korea.

Then, improving technologies and integrating both Korean values and Western elements, ‘Hallyu’ was spread toward the other countries. As a result, many people in the world became the fan of ‘Hallyu’. That has effects, which are increasing attention of Korean cultural content, Korean language education, Korean products and lifestyles. In addition, Korea got many foreign tourist.

The professors of Chongshin University sometimes ask ‘What is the proud of Chongshin?’ Then, the most of students answered, “faith and the garden of Eden.” Eden is the yard of Chongshin. The students love environment, Eden was regarded as a most proud of Chongshin. There is so beautiful all four seasons. As the students love the environment, the landscape of campus is more beautiful.

week8 extra credit# How to cook sweet potato mat tang

Ingrediants: sweet potatoes, fry oil, oligosaccharide, sesame


Frist, you must wash the sweet potatoes clean, and cut it into square shape.

Then, soak the pieces of sweet potatoes in water in order to remove satrch, and drain it dry on kitchen towel.

Next, fry the sweet potatoes until its color will be brown, and drain the oil.

When the fried sweet potatoes are completed, move it to clean fry fan and fry it with oligosaccharide until the oligosaccharide is got harden. Oligosaccharide has plentiful ear mushroom, so it is good and healthy rather than using starch syrup and sugar.

Finally,  transfer to a plate, and dredge the top of the it with a suitable amount of sesame.

Week7# My dream

My dream is teacher.

When I was secondary school student, I was an erratic student. I went through a stormy period of puberty, and I joined once a club where was comprised of disorderly students. One day, I was dragged and hit by senior of the club without any cause, and my friends who were everything to me looked away from me. At that time, I was very desperate and had hard time.

However, I met my Lord, God through my mother. He comforted and healed me by his love. Finally, I picked up more than before, but I still didn’t understand what I do in my life. I started asking about my calling by praying, and I was responded by God. That is teacher, and also he gave me an idea that the best teacher is Jesus and mind of love toward adolescences. Through my experienced and faith, I think I can understand my students and help them.

Teachers do not only educating their students, but also caring, understanding and loving them. I really want to be a teacher who resemble Jesus and have also outstanding ability.

Wee6# Who is my admire? Kang yeong-woo.

Do you know Kang Yeong-woo? He was a PhD and worked for U.S. government as Political Assistance Secretary in the White House. His careers are so fantastic, but he was blind.

When he was 15 years-old, he lost his eye sight by accident during the playing the soccer with his friends. To make matters worse, he suffered hardship like parting with persons whom he loved and so on. However, he never gave up his life and hope, and bodily depended on God. Finally, God makes him light of world for glory of God.

Actually, I used to be frustrated and fall down, too easily and frequently. I always tried to think and repeat that “I never give up. God is always with me.” but encouraging myself is not easy in sometimes. When I do, I recall him, Kang Yeong-woo. I admire his attitude that is never giving up his life, holding a faith and believing God always, and his life like this encourage to me-never forget God who is my father, loves me and makes me perfect and strong. I hope my life is used by God in his planning as most perfect and nicely. I will never forget and struggle for my calling.

 

week5# The sound of music

The sound of music(1965)

 

Full of addictive music and lyrical scenes, the movie maintain popularity all over the world. This is extremely famous musical movie that was set in the Alps. It is comprised of superb natural landscape and familiar song to our, “Do-Re-Mi” and “Edelwess”. All the time, I can’t stop watching and no concentrate in the story.

The story is about love between a colonel and probation of nun who is tutor of his children. It is really touching that children is changed as teaching by tutor and finally even brusque colonel. Process of confirming each other love made heart to grip. Also, each minor stories of children in the movie is so interesting.

One of protagonists is Julie Andrews who is known as grandmother of protagonist and queen of Genovia in the movie, The princess Diaries(2001). Seeing her younger day is also another enjoyment as her fan.

I think this movie has no reservation. The movie is perfect, a truly memorable and the best. I strongly recommended it to you. I really want to understand and share ideas together about the movie. Definitely, that will be your choice without regret. I will wait until you see the movie.

week 4# optional extra credit) My view was changed!

I attend to Introduction to the Foundation Special Education(IFSE) in every Tuesday. But in the first, I was not interested in Foundation Special Education. That is why just the lecture changed from optional to essential for completing a course in teaching. So, I have no expectation in the class.

 

However, the more I heard the lecture the more I can feel changing my thought. Especially, After the class, Reflection Paper students must write for a lesson in the week is so helpful to thinking connection between lecture and real life.

 

Among the lessons, the most memorable point is view to the disabled. That is disability, of course, can be overcome. In the case of a mental retardation, it is just slower more than non-disabled and not stagnant. And on a physical disability, It can be overcome by helping instruments though it is incurable like glasses. The fact what I was realized changed my thought and perspective on the disabled.

4weeks homework) Amazing Busan!XD

My friend, So-hyun, and I traveled around Korea with train in the winter before last. We went Chuncheon-si, Gangneung-si, Suncheon-si, Jeonju-si, Deajeon-si, Mokpo-si, Tongyeong-si and Busan. From among there, Busan is the best place.

 

 

I think Busan is one of the most tourist destinations where are full of beautiful and interesting in Korea and further more in the world. You will see how there is wonderful place through sightseeing.

We first went Haeundae. There is the most popular bathing beach. It has miles of golden sands and a vast ocean. Although we went in winter, the beach was overcrowded with people.

 

Food alley in Nampo-dong and Jagalchi Market are close together and both have different kinds of food. In advance of trip, we had searched famous restaurants and visited there. We ate so many things, but the most memorable taste is Chinese pancake of seeds. That is pancake stuffed with brown sugar and many seeds. Before eating it, I never see and taste it. So I can’t imagine its flavor. But, when I take a bite, sweetness and taste of roasting sesame are filled in my mouth. That is so fantastic.

Next, Taejongdae and Munhua Village are also very famous place. Taejongdae has fascinating landscape with rock, trees and ocean. Also, the air is very fresh and makes me feel great. Munhua Village is just a town. But some artists painted arts on the walls and created work of art.

Last, we went Guanganli beach where has Guangan large bridge at midnight. The colorful lights on the bridge are extremely and remarkably amazing. It was indelible beauty.

Busan is incredible spot have many exciting things. People are so kind and their dialects are so attractive. But one miss is the buses for movement are so crowded and a few. Except that, everything is really fantastic.

Week3 # optional extra credit.

Since when was last December, I'm a member of working group meeting's executive in Wondang church.

My role is replacement of his obligation, when vicemna is absence as a vice-chairman. Also that is taking care of members in our community  and looking around the community.

Actually, I was offerd my position in last year. I continually give a denial to it because I really didn't want it.
But when I was getting thinking and praying, I discovered that my decision is wrong and change gradually.

So, finally I decided to run for a vice-chairman and was elected.

Now, I have performed my role diligently and been much oliged to calling as my position.

Two weeks were passed by returning to the university already. During my leave of absence, last year, I got lazy.ㅠ_ㅠ And then, Now, I really tired and hard to wake up early, take lessons and do homework.

Originally, I never sleep in public transportation like bus and subway. And I can't that. However, I missed station where I must get off. That was caused by felling a sleep, and every day this week to boot!!!!! That is so surprising and unpalatable to me. This semester is only just stared. How can I have my eyes wide open? What should I do?:-(

  Hello! I'm Yunjoo. I want to talk about me.
 
  I'm 23 years-old. I major in English Education. I matriculated at Chongshin university in 2010. But, I'm in third grade, because I took a leave of absence last one year. And this year, I went back school and have taking 8 class including the English Writing class. Actually, I really nervous and afraid of my restarting. So, I need strong  courage and decision for suceed in my semester and life. That is my goal this semester. And also, I have two objective in the time.

  One is loosing my weight. It is really a matter of great concern. When I think about this, I always heave a sigh. My diet have started 4 years ago. However, I never had suceed in. I felt so frustrated. But! I make decision never before. I must overcome my failures and succeed.

  And I make preparation for English teacher certification examination. When I 15 years old, I had dream of teacher. And I entered college of Education. But I confused by some thought  'This is real my way?', 'Can I do?'. Finally, I took time off. During my intentionally vacation, I had dream of English teacher again while I pray for my calling. I know that I lack skill now. So, from now, I'll have really hard training for completion of good teacher.

That is my purpose and challenge. But, above all thing, I'll never forget that I am Christian. That is my identity.
